Reding Appointed Managing Director at TRUMPF Medical Systems

Charleston, SC – TRUMPF Medical Systems, Inc. has announced the appointment of Andy Reding as Managing Director, North America. Reding will take over day-to-day operations of the company effective April 23, 2007. He will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s business strategy including marketing, sales and service, and distribution channel development. “Andy’s proven track record of building highly effective sales teams and increasing market share in the capital medical equipment industry were key factors in his selection,” said President and CEO Toni Egger, in welcoming Reding to the TRUMPF team.

Reding, who has an undergraduate degree from Marquette University, an MBA from the University of South Carolina and brings 14 years of sales, sales management and senior level marketing experience to his new role, expressed his feeling that TRUMPF is poised for significant growth. “With US Hospital construction at an all-time high and the global success of the TRUMPF Group serving as a testament to the quality of the product portfolio, I feel TRUMPF Medical Systems is uniquely positioned to dramatically grow its North American market share,” said Reding. “Considering TRUMPF’s value proposition of high quality, innovative products that drive documented improvements in efficiency, I am confident we can make a significant impact in the U.S. and Canadian markets. Egger also pointed out that Reding’s background guiding companies whose product lines are similar to those of TRUMPF, his extensive industry contacts and experience developing programs that reach key customer groups including hospital administrators, surgeons, nurses, hospital planners and architects, are expected to benefit the entire organization.
