Service and Logistics Manager |

Manage all technical service and warehouse operations. Supervise staff to ensure timely shipments products while maintaining quality of delivery. Supervise Shipping and Receiving to ensure all items sent and received are documented appropriately. Minimize inventory value and variance by implementing appropriate processes and controls. Develop systems for collecting, analyzing, reporting, and resolving quality issues in cooperation with manufacturing locations in Germany. Develop a manage a high quality technical service team maintaining targeted levels of customer satisfaction and response time. Act as liason to German manufacturing, engineering, and service personnel to maximize knowledge transfer.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for recruiting, training, and managing all technical service and warehouse personnel. |

Develops database and dispatch protocols for service calls and installation schedules of both direct and 3rd party personnel. |

Develops processes to standardize shipment and receipt of goods, maintenance of inventory through cycle counts, handling discrepant material, reporting quality problems and equipment service details to factories. |

Develops profile, recruits, trains, motivates, and directs the field service organization. |
 |
Ensure warehouse is kept safe, clean and orderly |
 |
Develop a sustainable business model to increase revenue through non-warranty service calls and contracts. |
 |
Collects, analyzes, reports, and resolves quality issues on a monthly basis to maintain communication with Management and with liasons in German factories. |
 |
Develops forecasts, places orders, and creates strategic inventory plans to support customer and service organization demand for products and parts. |
Experience
Medical device or hospital biomedical experience is preferred. Should have experience with electro-mechanical products in a field service and/or manufacturing environment. Must have experience leading teams and driving process improvement. Individual must be adaptable and posess strong interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to develop strong relationships with German counterparts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to manage multiple projects, organize work assignments. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products and/or inventory accounting systems. Proficiency with German language is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required. Education in engineering, operations, or business management is preferred.
